I have a Bichon client who is very long, and I cannot figure out how to style her to "fix" this problem. Any advice? I've tried leaving her legs longer (fluffier) than her body and scissoring closer on the very front of the front legs and very back of the back legs. I'm not sure if that's the right way to go. Maybe I should leave the belly longer and the legs shorter? I just don't know! The client does not want the dog's coat too long or "foo foo", so I can't leave myself much hair to work with.
Advice, please! The photo is the "short on belly, fluffy legs" attempt...
