Walgreens is hosting a pet photo shoot this Saturday! It only costs $5.99, and $5 of that goes to pet charities! The other $.99 gets you a photo on a 5x7 print as well as a CD of you and your furry or feathered friend, and some coupons for pet related items. This is happening in many stores, but you'll want to check the website here and click on the appropriate link to find out exactly which stores in your area will be participating.
A note to my local readers: Sadly, we're rural, and I believe our closest participating stores are in Mount Vernon, IL or Evansville, IN. If you find one closer, let me know! I was wrong! Our local store IS participating. If your store is not listed on the website, stop by or call to see if they might be participating in the program anyway. Woohoo!
PSA: Please, please, please don't carry your pet into the store in your arms. Use a leash or crate. Remember, there will be other pets (and small children) there who may frighten, aggravate, or otherwise cause your furry loved one to fly out of your arms and injure themselves or another.
